Into the Light, 2019

This series of paintings was created in collaboration with late renowned biologist Donald Lawrence Lush. Adapting scientific knowledge about the electromagnetic spectrum of daylight, fluorescent pigments are carefully used to mimic the spectrum of the sun’s light, giving the viewer’s body the sensation that they are truly experiencing the time of day being depicted. The sequence follows the progression of a day in the life of a vacation camper. Read more
